Do you know how to breathe? It may sound like a silly question but we as humans sometimes forget how to breathe. From birth, we learned how to take our first breath and are unconscious about it from then on...Our bodies naturally take in the air around us without our conscious being aware.
After years of being on the move, stress, {I got to do this, I got to go here, I got to go there, I got to get to this appointment, etc.} our bodies eventually forget how to perform its basic functions..{breathing, healing}
I recently learned how to slow down my breathing after years of chronic stress, chest pain, and fatigue taking over. Taking ten minutes a day {before bed-tide} will help your body heal itself from many of the ailments we claim to suffer from. And it's just a simple slow breath in...and out....and in....and out...In, 2, 3, 4, and out, 2, 3, 4...(each count is one second)...you might see, over time, how things improve.
Now, reader, I am no where near 100% but just learning how to breath all over again has helped in many ways...i.e.{sleeping better, performing daily tasks, working, playing, resting}
I call this {taking a peak at the basics}...learn to walk before we can run...learn your ABC's before we can read...learn your 123's before we can do 1+1...{Reader, can you tell I teach Kindergarten?} My wonderful model, Abby{pictured above (and below)}, was my inspiration for this entry today.
